You can use Python along with the pytube
library for downloading YouTube videos and BeautifulSoup
for parsing HTML. First, make sure you have the required libraries installed:
pip install pytube beautifulsoup4
Here is a Python script that reads an HTML file containing YouTube links, downloads the videos, and creates a new HTML file to track the successfully downloaded videos:
import os
from bs4 import BeautifulSoup
from pytube import YouTube
def download_video(url, output_folder):
try:
yt = YouTube(url)
video = yt.streams.filter(file_extension='mp4', resolution='720p').first()
video.download(output_folder)
print(f"Downloaded: {yt.title}")
return True
except Exception as e:
print(f"Error downloading {url}: {e}")
return False
def process_html(input_html, output_folder):
# Create an output HTML file to track successful downloads
output_html_path = os.path.join(output_folder, "downloaded_videos.html")
with open(output_html_path, "w", encoding="utf-8") as output_html:
output_html.write("<html><body>\n")
# Parse the input HTML file
with open(input_html, "r", encoding="utf-8") as input_file:
soup = BeautifulSoup(input_file, "html.parser")
links = soup.find_all("a")
for link in links:
url = link.get("href")
if url and "youtube.com" in url:
success = download_video(url, output_folder)
if success:
output_html.write(f'<p><a href="{url}">{url}</a></p>\n')
output_html.write("</body></html>\n")
if __name__ == "__main__":
input_html_path = "path/to/your/input.html" # Replace with the path to your HTML file
output_folder_path = "path/to/your/documents/folder" # Replace with the path to your documents folder
if not os.path.exists(output_folder_path):
os.makedirs(output_folder_path)
process_html(input_html_path, output_folder_path)
Replace "path/to/your/input.html"
with the path to your HTML file containing YouTube links, and "path/to/your/documents/folder"
with the path to your documents folder.

Drone
https://store.dji.com/product/dji-mini-4-pro?vid=148581
https://www.pcmag.com/reviews/dji-mini-4-pro
The DJI Mini 4 Pro (starting at $759) is a small camera drone that does nearly everything right. It folds up for easy storage, is light enough to sidestep registration requirements in most regions, and sports a fantastic Quad Bayer camera that swaps between wide-screen and vertical video recording in a jiff. Full 360-degree obstacle avoidance sensors and an HDR video profile give it the edge over its predecessor, the Mini 3 Pro, so it becomes our new Editors’ Choice winner for most creators interested in aerial imaging, as well as for beginners who want the security of obstacle avoidance.
Light Enough to Skip FAA Registration
At 249 grams (or 8.8 ounces), the Mini 4 Pro weighs the same as every Mini model before it. That figure puts the drone in a weight class that’s less subject to restrictions in many regions around the world. In the US, it means recreational fliers can skip the $5 FAA registration fee. You still need to take the basic TRUST knowledge test, but that’s free. In other places, this weight means you have a lot more freedom to fly—Canada, the EU, and the UK reserve stricter rules for larger drones. If you’re new to flying remote copters, take time to read up on the rules and regulations before your first flight.

The DJI Mini 4 Pro is quite small, too. Folded down, it measures just 2.4 by 3.5 by 5.7 inches (HWD), so it’s easy to fit in a gear bag along with any accessories you need.
As for the design, the airframe is plastic with a light gray finish. Air cooling vents behind the gimbal and on the rear keep the drone’s components from overheating. The open design means it doesn’t have any sort of weather protection, but that’s something I expect more from industrial models.

Virtual Environments
Setting up Python with virtual environments is a good practice to isolate your Python projects and their dependencies. Virtual environments help avoid conflicts between different projects by creating a self-contained environment for each. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to set up Python with virtual environments:
1. Install Python:
Make sure you have Python installed on your system. You can download the latest version from the official Python website.
2. Install virtualenv
(if not already installed):
Open a terminal or command prompt and run the following command to install virtualenv
globally:
bashCopy code
pip install virtualenv
3. Create a Virtual Environment:
Navigate to the directory where you want to create your virtual environment, and run the following commands in the terminal or command prompt:
For Windows:
bashCopy code
python -m venv venv
For macOS/Linux:
bashCopy code
python3 -m venv venv
Replace venv
with the desired name for your virtual environment.
4. Activate the Virtual Environment:
For Windows:
bashCopy code
venv\Scripts\activate
For macOS/Linux:
bashCopy code
source venv/bin/activate
Your command prompt or terminal prompt should change to indicate that you are now working within the virtual environment.
5. Install Packages:
With the virtual environment activated, use pip
to install Python packages. For example:
bashCopy code
pip install package_name
6. Deactivate the Virtual Environment:
When you’re done working in the virtual environment, you can deactivate it using the following command:
bashCopy code
deactivate
Additional Tips:
- To check which Python interpreter you’re using, you can run
which python
on macOS/Linux orwhere python
on Windows. - Make sure to activate your virtual environment whenever you work on your project to ensure that you are using the correct dependencies.
This setup allows you to manage dependencies for different projects independently, keeping your system-wide Python installation clean and avoiding conflicts between projects.

Best Printers of 2023 (really?)
https://www.rtings.com/printer/reviews/hp
The best HP printer we’ve tested is the HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M479fdw. This color laser all-in-one feels remarkably well-built, and its design allows easy access to toner cartridges and paper jams. Its ADF-equipped scanner scans up to 25 pages per minute and can scan double-sided sheets in a single pass, so you don’t need to flip the pages manually. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, USB, and Ethernet, and it supports Apple AirPrint and Mopria Print Service.
As for its printing performance, it produces incredibly sharp documents, doesn’t take long to warm up, and prints very quickly at 21 black or 29 color pages per minute. The regular toner cartridges yield around 2400 black and 2100 color pages before they run out, and you can get XL cartridges that’ll last even longer. The cartridges are expensive, but the cost-per-print is very low since you won’t have to replace them often. Plus, they have the drum built-in, meaning you won’t have to replace the drum separately.
While the M479fdw is an excellent printer, it’s also quite expensive. If you want something cheaper, we recommend getting the HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M283fdw, also known as the HP LaserJet Pro M283cdw at Costco. It’s also a color laser model that produces incredibly sharp documents; however, it doesn’t support automatic duplex scanning, and its toner cartridges don’t last as long.
https://www.rtings.com/printer/reviews/hp/color-laserjet-pro-mfp-m479fdw
The HP Color LaserJet Pro Multifunction M479fdw is an outstanding laser printer for home or small offices, especially for those who regularly print in bulk. Whether it’s in black only or color, documents are printed at great speed and the cartridge’s high yield means you won’t have to replace them often. You can scan documents and photos at a high resolution and color depth, and the scanner is also equipped with an automatic document feeder (ADF) that can perform duplex scanning, saving you time. Unfortunately, the quality of printed photos isn’t good, and color accuracy will be an issue for those working in graphic design or printed media. On the bright side, its build quality is outstanding and its design gives you easy access to the toner cartridges and various trays. It’s relatively inexpensive to print in large numbers, and the printer has excellent wireless connectivity options, providing convenience as well as keeping your setup clean and wire-free.
Our Verdict
N/A Small/Home Office
The HP LaserJet Pro M479fdw is an outstanding printer for home or small offices. Its black and color toner cartridges can yield a lot of pages before they need to be replaced, and the cost-per-print remains low even if you print a large number of copies. Printing speed is excellent, whether it’s in black only or color, and the scanner has an automatic document feeder that can perform duplex scanning, which is a huge time-saver if you regularly have to scan long documents.
